The 2012 Derby race meeting takes place on June 1st and 2nd. There will be no model flying on those days. The full-size heliport is usually setup on the Downs a couple of days before the races start. Model flying will have to stop at that time. The post-race clearup usually prevents us from flying on the Sunday after the race. It is anticipated that model flying can resume as normal from Monday June 4th.

The 6th Annual General Meeting of the Epsom Downs Model Aircraft Club was held on Monday 19th Dec 2011.
Those committee members standing for re-election were returned unopposed and the membership voted to keep the annual subscription for 2012 unchanged at £10.
