Renewals for current members
Personalised renewal letters for 2010 were available for all 2009 members to collect at the AGM. Those that were not collected were posted on 12th December 2009.
Please check the details, making any necessary corrections, then sign and return it with your payment and a passport-size photograph (send last year's card if you wish) to the address on the letter.
Starting this year we will be printing photographs directly onto the cards so that in subsequent years we will not need to ask for photographs at every renewal. In some cases we already have a digital photograph of you, in that case this will be stated on the renewal letter and a new photograph is not required.
If you have lost your renewal letter - or didn't receive one - then please fill in a new membership form, but write RENEWAL and your 4-digit membership number at the top.
New members
The club subscription for 2010 is £5 for adults and free for under-18s.
As the club is affiliated to the BMFA, all members must also be BMFA members. The BMFA subscription for 2010 is £29 for adults, £15 for under-18s. There are also reductions for BMFA "family" membership where one member pays the full-price and a partner plus any number of under-18s registered at the same addresss pay a reduced rate - £19 for a family partner and £10 for each family junior. If you do not already have BMFA membership (either through another club or as a "country" member) EDMAC can arrange your BMFA membership for you. Details are on the membership form.
The EDMAC Membership Form for 2010 can be downloaded either as a Microsoft Word document or as a PDF document. Click the icon below for the format you require.
 
After completing the form please send it with your payment and a passport-size photograph (we need this for your membership card) to the address shown on the form. Please write your name on the back of the photograph.
EDMAC membership is valid from the date of joining until December 31st of the same year. You are welcome to join at any time, but if joining late in the year please bear in mind that you will need to renew your membership to continue flying after December 31st.
BMFA membership is also valid from the date of joining until December 31st of the same year. They usually reduce their subscription on 1st July for those joining after that date. The EDMAC form will be updated with the new BMFA subs at that time.
